Shelby River was born from my love of creating meaningful, personalized jewelry and keychains — each piece handcrafted in Thomasville, NC to help you celebrate the moments and people that matter most. Shelby River was born from some of the hardest — and most meaningful — moments of my life. I started engraving after losing my Dad, who was my hero. I wanted to create something special to keep his memory close, and that’s when I discovered how powerful personalized keepsakes could be. Around the same time, I was also facing my own battle — cancer. Four years ago, I rang the bell after my final chemo treatment, and I’ve been cancer-free ever since. That journey gave me a deep appreciation for life, creativity, and the little things that truly matter. Now, I’m a full-time caregiver for my mom, and I run this shop from our cozy she shed in Thomasville, NC — a peaceful little space where I create alongside my Australian Shepherd, Shelby River. She's my support dog, my shadow, and the heart of this shop's name. Every piece I make is a tribute to strength, love, and the moments worth holding onto.
